Amazon has unveiled three new tablet computers that operate on Android and feature Alexa+ built in. The range includes a 12-inch device, an 11-inch model and an 8.7-inch tablet. Prices begin from $229.99, with deliveries starting this month in North America and Europe. The new Amazon Android range also provides Google Play Store access.

The priciest model, the Alexa Tablet 12 Pro, costs $499.99. It has a 12-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 16GB of RAM and four Dolby Atmos speakers. Amazon says the battery supports up to 16 hours of video playback. A version with a Nanomatte anti-glare screen costs $549.99. Learn more about the Alexa Tablet 12 Pro.

The 12 Pro also boasts a detachable keyboard and a Pro Pen. The keyboard costs $149.99 and the pen $89.99, which adds to the expense that consumers have to spend in the event that they wish to utilize a tablet for typing or handwritten notes. The Amazon tablet with a keyboard option could benefit users who require a device that serves a greater purpose than merely watching videos.

The Alexa Tablet 11 costs $329.99. Featuring a 2.5K display, 90Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM and twin Dolby Atmos speakers, the device can be used to view videos for a total of 15 hours on battery power. Find the Alexa Tablet 11 product details.

Priced at $229.99, the Alexa Tablet 8 is the most affordable of the three. Its 8.7-inch screen and 329-gram weight enable it to be easily transported around. It also supports Wi-Fi 6 and offers video viewing of up to 14 hours.

A major difference from Amazon’s Fire tablets is the Google Play Store support. Customers wishing to acquire tablets with Google Play Store access can download compatible applications from Google’s store in lieu of only relying on the applications that are featured on Amazon’s app selection.

The Alexa+ is another element that is worth noting. Amazon claims its assistant can utilize information that is shown on the screen when customers decide to activate that function. Screen visibility is disabled by default. The tablets also feature a Kindle reading mode that silences notifications, giving up to 20 hours of reading time.

Shipping is set to begin on October 14 in the United States, Mexico and Canada. The United Kingdom, Germa
