Global spending on public cloud services is likely to reach US$723.4 billion in 2025, representing a 21.5% increase from last year, says a recent Gartner report. More than 85% of companies worldwide are expected to adopt a cloud-first strategy, involving a significant shift toward intelligent, data-driven operations.
Huawei Cloud leads this transformation, positioned as a “leader” in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Container Management. The new Huawei Cloud AI upgrades are targeted at expanding its global reach by delivering faster, smarter, and more reliable solutions for businesses around the world.
Container Management Boosts Business Efficiency
Huawei Cloud's Cloud Container Engine supports the efficient operation and scaling of enterprise applications on multiple systems. This engine is utilized by DeFacto, a Turkish fashion brand with operations in 47 countries, to handle sudden massive surges in online traffic during sales. The system enables DeFacto to scale 4,000 containers in only 30 seconds and cut page load times from 1.5 seconds down to 260 milliseconds, increasing user satisfaction and conversions.
Supernodes Power Next-Gen AI Applications
One of the most prominent Huawei Cloud AI upgrades examples will be the supernode cluster named CloudMatrix 384, which was designed to accelerate AI workloads. By growing from 384 to 8,192 neural processing units, Huawei increases computing power by an order of magnitude to facilitate faster AI training and execution. Its Elastic Memory Service reduces latency by as much as 90% to ensure large AI models can run smoothly and perform with accuracy.
AI Agents and Cloud Robots Revolutionize Industries
Huawei has also introduced the Versatile Agent Platform that enables companies to build digital "colleagues" to automate repetitive tasks and provide decision-making support. Chinese chemical producer Wanhua Chemical improved fault prediction accuracy from 70% to 90% with this platform.
Among the other highlights of the Huawei Cloud AI upgrades is the CloudRobo Platform, which moves much of a robot's intelligence into the cloud. This reduces the size and cost of the robot while enabling faster and safer virtual training in digital twin environments.
